This year the InfoComm conference takes place in Orlando, Florida on 27-29 of October, 2021 and the presentations will be streamed online as well. The event is all about introducing and presenting the latest audiovisual technological advancements, learning skills and networking. Within the extremely interesting arsenal of presentations, there is one lecture on InfoComm’s program that makes us particularly excited.
Miguel Ramlatchan, the assistant vice president for academic technology services of Old Dominion University has been an advocate of improving distance learning regarding both the technological aspect and the lecturer-student communication as well.
Miguel’s presentation - Creating Richer Media Experiences for Online Classes - is on the 27th of October, from 10:30 AM - 10:50 AM.
What’s on the agenda?
We proudly announce that TC&C and Old Dominion University have been co-developing a media recorder based on the CARIN365 Recording System. As a result of our collaborative efforts, we have already released the platform independent CARIN LectureCorder, specialized for distance learning to ease preserving and sharing interactions and media recorded from video conferencing solutions such as WebEx, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
